bans for talking recklessly in chat need to reduced to a moderate time frame. Personal vendettas should not be reflected in those punishments. An entire clan is being punished because someone gets insulted or mocked in a silly chat sequence. NOT fair to the clan involved.

the player involved has created 5 multi accounts, he has been warned several times.
imho this hurts to player at first and then the clan who tolerates that behaviour.
The reason he was banned was for inapropriate behaviour in chat, creating multi's won't lift any ban but will render all other accounts useless for chat.
We have simple and fair rules, rule number one is that you don't ruin other people's fun!
I hope you enjoy MoW, you are only banned for 5 minutes and you've been given the reason as well.

There is no personal vendetta, there is abuse and we're fighting that.

I know this game was a lot more fun when admins and mods didn't ban people for disagreeing with them. Stable 1 and 2 are no fun anymore when admins attack you on stable1 for trying to kill off 35 horses. He has attacked me before on stable1 with 10 incomings from his clan for me and someone else attacking him on beta and me getting runes before the server was reset. I am done with stable1 & 2 until something is done. Goodbye dead game.

As the longest continuing player (I think) on Dolumar I have to agree to the points. Personally I'd rather see less servers. The base that plays is what keeps the others going as well. I tried to start paying but when I lost what I paid in one hit , I gave up. It wasnt worth it to me to buy runes to lose them all in one hit. Anywho I am aware you have a life and school. Im all for that. If you leave it to 2 servers thats less to track and more time to concentrate on them.
Moderators. I think there should be a few more. A moderator board. I believe that there should be at least 5. That 5 should get together to vote on bans lasting more than a day or if the same person was banned and is going to be banned again by the same mod. No offense to Demo and Peak , I like you guys really, but I believe there is a level of personal stuff being entered into their decisions. Just the tone just doesnt seem right to me in there.

Since this is all out in the public i'm sure the player we're discussing here doesn't mind sharing the details.
First, offensive chat a while ago, he was banned from chat for a few minutes.
After that more accounts we're created to avoid the chat ban.
Those were banned as well.
A couple of days later another account was created, it was banned as well.
When that account came online again a few days later (today) i unbanned it thinking whamra really wanted to play the game.
Obviously he didn't cause the verbal abuse continued, so he got banned again and more multies were created.
What can i say?
Ban his ip is the next step, to me he's more then welcome if he wants to play the game like any other normal player.
Futhermore, we're finally done with most of the cheaters, there are no multi's and the ones hiding behind proxy servers are almost gone, is this the work of a mod? Great, let's forget about the testserver then, we'll ban some idiot who ruins the game some more!

What verbal abuse happened today? It was a joke to me. I thought it was funny. You all know the history and hate and the one fateful day he took out my village. (its a national holiday in the shire) So if anyone should be mad it should be me. I LMFAO. I really did. Then he got banned for it. Then he came in and called ya on it. I think tougher skin should be found.

oh and for the record. Although I though Wham was a crappy mod as well, he never banned me for the banter and accusations I threw at him. He countered with his opinion and how he saw it. Although thought he was wrong the most and i was right (i always am) ... I think real multies are what need to be banned. Getting rid of joke ones that do not trade should happen as well but to ban for a long time his real account. C'mon

That's why there are 3 mods who check eachother as well, all actions are logged!
If we don't agree we discuss them amonst eachother, the chat channel is not a mod discussion board, it's for chatting about the game.
Please, enjoy the game, don't worry about bans or resets cause you won't get one!

This post is another example of two players, here to spread hatred and a bad atmosphere in the game. Sorry that things did not work out for you on the other servers, and that this is your only outlet for your frustrations. If you are not here to play, why don't you just leave dolumar alone?

Demo and myself has been tied up exclusively, with ways to improve the game for those who are here to play. To minimize the cheaters, and work on bugs. Do you think the old mod/admin team would have gotten anywhere with balancing the races, keep clans from internal attacks, etc., etc. etc. - all you have for the game is to spread ill feelings, and it is not appreciated.
Bowser sent his 35 riders to Yan to kill them. Yan flipped out, then attacked him on stable 1. So how, mr moderator, do you assess that? Who mods the mods? Who are you accountable to?

I don't see what this has to do with long term bans for players who create multi's to avoid chat bans.
I'm sure there's some logic to it but i don't see it.

I'm even failing to see that, i see your argument, someone got attacked... and another argument, that person got attacked on a different server.
So what, it's a wargame, and people are supposed to attack.
Some more explanation: there are 2 very active mods who don't play active, that would be me and peak. for all i know is Invisbleman playing, we're not, since we thing modding and playing active is a bad combination.

To respond to your edit...please read the many pages in moderator forum. You can see exactly what was done, was was asked for, and the responses we recieved.
